Did you know that March 22 is World Water Day?

World Water Day is an international observance day that raises awareness around the global water crisis. According to health experts, 1 in 4 people around the world do not have access to safe drinking water.

In response to such an urgent global need, from today until March 22, we invite you to join us as we highlight and fundraise for clean drinking water around the world.

HOPE worldwide supplies clean drinking water by providing water filters in communities around the world including the Philippines, Nepal, Indonesia, Papa New Guinea, Honduras, El Salvador and Zambia. These filters allow people (primarily women and children) to spend more time in school and pursuing their careers, rather than walking miles to draw water from wells that are often contaminated.

Additionally, the HOPE worldwide Disaster Response team provides water filters when communities have had water sources damaged by natural disaster.
